About Me
Sweet Hazel, a Jersey cow. We rescued Hazel from a dairy farm that was going to send Hazel to a meat auction. She was only about 3 months old when we got her. She was extremely fearful of people at first but with patience and lots of love she has become one of the farm’s biggest snugglers! You will find Hazel laying on someone’s yoga blanket during barnyard yoga or cuddling up with one of the pigs on any given day. Hazel doesn’t realize her size though so we always warn people to watch their toes etc. Hazel is our 2nd largest eater on the farm at two bales per day plus free pasture time. With cows come lots of ‘cow pies’ so we always have lots of clean up to around the farm especially where Hazel has been.
